This policy covers the Doxie Stretch mobile game, the website at doxiestretch.com, and messages you send for support. The publisher and contact responsible for these practices is Darko Klincharski. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@doxiestretch.com.
1. Information in the game
The game runs on your device. It does not send personal information, device identifiers, gameplay events, scores, or diagnostics to us. It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, or microphone. There are no advertising, analytics, social login, or tracking SDKs.
To remember your preferences and personal bests, the game stores the following in its local app storage:
- Scores, including Appa’s length, the time taken to reach it, and local run identifiers used to organize the records.
- Music and sound-effects settings and your arrow-control layout.
- Whether the first-run guide has started, plus save-format and scoring-version information.
A local recovery copy helps protect saves from accidental file damage. This data is not uploaded to the publisher. There is no developer-operated cloud save, account, or online leaderboard. Android cloud backup is disabled in the app configuration; device-to-device transfers and system backups may behave differently depending on your platform and settings.
2. Visiting this website
Choosing Settings → Privacy policy in the game opens this page in your external browser. That optional website visit needs an internet connection; gameplay remains offline.
This static website uses Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and CloudFront) to deliver its pages securely. Like other web hosting, this requires AWS to process connection and request information, such as your IP address, requested page, and browser request headers, to deliver and protect the service. AWS may process that information in countries other than your own through its global infrastructure.
We do not enable website access logs, analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, cookies, browser local storage, or fingerprinting on this site. Images and fonts are hosted with the site. We do not receive gameplay data when you visit. AWS’s own service operations and retention are governed by its terms and privacy notice.
Instagram and future app-store links are ordinary external links, not embedded social widgets. If you follow one, the destination service receives your visit and its privacy policy applies. The Instagram handle displayed inside the game is a static credit; the game does not connect to Instagram or upload results.
3. Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and anything you choose to attach, such as a device model or screenshot. We use this information to answer your request, investigate a reported problem, and handle privacy questions. Our email provider and yours process the correspondence to deliver and store it.
Please share only information needed to explain the issue. We do not use support correspondence for advertising, profiling, or marketing, and we do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers needed to handle the request, or where required by law.
4. Retention and deletion
Local game data: scores and settings remain in the app’s storage until that storage is cleared or the app is deleted. On Android, use Settings → Apps → Doxie Stretch → Storage → Clear storage (wording varies). On iOS, Delete App removes local app data; Offload App retains it. Clearing storage resets scores, settings, and tutorial history. We cannot retrieve or delete these files remotely. If your operating system or device-transfer service keeps a separate backup, manage that copy with the relevant provider.
Support messages: we keep correspondence only as long as needed to resolve the request, handle related follow-up, or satisfy a legal obligation. You can ask us to delete it using the contact below. Where information must be retained for a legal obligation, we restrict its use to that purpose. Email-service backup copies follow the provider’s retention process.
Website requests: we do not create a visitor-access-log archive. Request processing necessary for hosting and security remains subject to AWS’s service practices.
5. Your choices and privacy rights
You can play without creating an account or sending us any information. You can remove local data through your device settings, choose not to follow external links, and decide what to include in a support request.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, or restrict the personal information in support correspondence, object to its processing, or complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We may need enough information to verify that the correspondence belongs to you. Where applicable, our basis for processing correspondence is our legitimate interest in answering and resolving requests; required legal retention is based on the relevant legal obligation.
6. Children’s privacy
The game does not collect personal information from players, including children. If a child sends personal information in a support message, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion. We do not use that information for marketing.
7. Security
Local saves use the operating system’s app storage. The website uses HTTPS, and its source storage is not publicly accessible directly. We limit access to support correspondence to those who need it to handle requests. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes and contact
We will update this page when these practices change and revise the date above. A material change to the app’s data practices will also be reflected in the app and its store disclosures as required.
